Of course you can with an organized trip to Barcelona, but the train is as simple and not expensive (less than 10 euros for a return). There is a direct train from Blanes and Malgrat to Barcelona. And in Barcelona you have the option to buy a day pass for public transport (metro and bus).
If you go to Barcelona one day make a good planning what you want to see. If you want to think at all when you are there you really be too late. |

Lloret de
Mar One of the most famous seaside resorts of Spain for the youth. Here's a decent selection of nightlife there is always something to do, day and night. A decent crowd. In the following year there are mainly Germans to find. Blanes --> Lloret is accessible from the boat, by bus, car or rental scooter. The distance between the two villages is only 5 km. If you go by car to Lloret you can easily park for a reasonable price under the busstation. Lloret also has a nice
shoppingcenter but if you've seen a few shops they all look pretty
similar. It is certainly worth a stroll through it. Please also here
that the necessary stuffers are trying to lure you into the
various dance venues. |

Malgrat de Mar Malgrat de Mar is also located approximately 7km from Blanes to the south. If the river Tordera is dry (the river between Malgrat and Blanes) than it is worth going to Malgrat by the beach. If there is water in the river you should be awere for a long walk along the river until the first bridge. In Malgrat is a long street with many shops. They call it the boulevard but there is still a train between the boulevard and the beach. The only advantage of the train is that you can easily come from Blanes. One tip is to take the train from Blanes and then at the second stop (Santa Susana) and then 1 stop to walk back along the promenade. If you have a car is appealing to the car to drive to the beach. Here it's much quieter than in the different resorts and the beach is much wider. |
